>Electroslag furnace is used for remelting and refining steel made by common smelting method, and single-phase power supply is generally used.
>It is specially used to produce aviation bearing steel, high-temperature alloy, resistance table gold, precision alloy and some non-ferrous metals. It can also be used to produce electroslag furnace power supply such as large high-quality alloy steel ingot, large flat ingot or slab and other special shaped castings.
>The electroslag furnace transformer has no reactor. The electric arc furnace transformers used in Electroslag Metallurgy and electric arc steelmaking are different. When the method of electrode plus auxiliary steel scraps is directly used for arc starting and slagging, there is only an arc at the initial stage. After slagging is completed, it will be transformed into an electric slag process without arc. This process continues to the melting and beam. The transformer of the electric slag furnace power supply needs low no-load voltage and small impedance voltage. The low voltage of electroslag furnace transformer shall have voltage regulation stages. Voltage regulation methods include:
1. No excitation no-load voltage regulation;
2. Excitation no-load voltage regulation;
3. On load voltage regulation.
No matter which voltage regulation mode is adopted, it is regulated by the switch on the high-voltage coil.
